Obituary for Judith A. Mclean

JUDITH ANN SHOVE McLEAN, 61, of 111 Dewey Avenue, Pittsfield, died
Sunday, January 6, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield, August 30, 1946, a daughter of the late Harold J. and Carol
Marie Grogan Sweeney, she attended schools in Lenox.
Mrs. McLean was, at one time, employed as a machine worker for SAMPCO
in Pittsfield. She later worked as a waitress for the former Nel's Restaurant in Pittsfield, and for the Village Snack Shop in Lenox, and for eleven years, was employed as
a nurse's aide at the former Edgecombe and Valley View Nursing Homes in Lenox.
She enjoyed bingo, bowling, visiting fairs, dancing, and being with her family.
She leaves her husband, Richard A. McLean, Sr., whom she married November
20, 1989, in Pittsfield.
Mrs. McLean is survived by four sons, Edward Burton Shove of Pittsfield, Robert
Joseph Shove of Las Vegas, Nevada, John David Shove of Pittsfield, and Richard
Michael Shove of Lenox Dale; a stepson, Richard A. McLean, Jr., of Laconia, New
Hampshire; three stepdaughters, Stephanie Ann McLean, Vicki Lee McLean, and Heidi
Lynn McLean, all of Laconia, New Hampshire; a brother, Brian J.Sweeney of Pittsfield;
a sister, Sandra Jamross of Pittsfield; eighteen grandchildren and eight great
grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A graveside service for JUDITH ANN SWEENY SHOVE McLEAN, who
died Sunday, January 6, will be Wednesday, January 9, at 1:30 p.m., at Mountain View
Cemetery in Lenox, with Rev. William D. Furey, Pastor of Berkshire Union Chapel,
officiating. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory
of Mrs. McLean may be made to HospiceCare in The Berkshires in care of DERY
FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
