Obituary for Judith A. Brunelle
Judith A. Brunelle, age75, of 9 Robert St., Pittsfield died Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Berkshire Medical Center. She was born on September 10, 1941 in Springfield, MA, the daughter of the late Raymond J. and Agnes R. Meagher Brunelle.
Judy had been a part of the BCARC-Berkshire County Association for Retarded Citizens- family since 1973. She had worked for 6 years for the former Berkshire County Savings Bank, also at the Blue Q here in Pittsfield, and lastly at Berkshire Ivy Gardens in Williamstown. She had attended the Center for Development in Lee for years. She loved animals, "Barbie" dolls, knitting and quilting.
Judy is survived by several cousins in the Springfield area, past and present peers and staff at CDF, and her housemates at Robert Street who loved her dearly; especially Kathy Kelly, Martha Panagopoulos, and Christine Ferrari.
Funeral services will be WEDNESDAY, MARCH 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield with Rev. Peter A Gregory officiating. Burial will be THURSDAY at 11:00 AM in St. Michael's Cemetery in Springfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to BCARC or the Berkshire Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
