Obituary for Joyce M. Pandell

Joyce M. Pandell, 81, of 15 South Street, Cheshire, died peacefully at Bay State Medical Center in Springfield on Saturday, September 6, 2014 of complications of diabetes.
Born on October 12, 1932 in Adams, MA, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Lillian Heinz LeBeau. She was educated in Adams schools and was 1950 graduate of the former Adams High School. A homemaker, she was employed at one time as a seamstress at the former Waverly Fabrics of Adams and as a cashier at the former Hills Dept. Store at the Berkshire Mall.
She was a past member of the Cheshire United Methodist Church. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She also enjoyed watching her grandsons Brad and Blaize perform with the Berkshire Dance Theater and mentoring Blaize at the McCann Technical High School Tea Room where he is a culinary student. She leaves her husband of 64 years, Norman K. Pandell Sr. of Cheshire whom she married on May 19, 1951 at St. Mark Church in Adams. Three sons; Norman K. Pandell Jr. and his wife Martha of Fullerton, CA, Kevin C. Pandell and his wife Jesuine of Fullerton, CA and Larry T. Pandell and his wife Noelle of Adams. A daughter; Joanne Heath and her husband William of Severna Park, MD. Two brothers; Robert LeBeau and his wife Jane of Adams and Donald LeBeau and his wife Betsy of Apache Junction, AZ. She also leaves her eight loving grandchildren; Jason and Christopher Heath of Baltimore, MD, Anthony, Anna and KC Marie Pandell of Fullerton, CA, Bradley and Blaize Pandell of Adams and John Newton of Fullerton, CA. She was predeceased by a brother; the late Richard LeBeau. Joyce also leaves many friends and caring neighbors who were always welcomed at her home.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Celebration of Life for Joyce LeBeau Pandell who died September 6, 2014 will be held Sunday, November 2, 2014 at 2PM at the Cheshire United Methodist Church followed by a reception at 197 Church St. in Cheshire. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations in memory of Joyce may be made to the American Diabetes Association in care of the DERY-CHESHIRE FUNERAL HOME, North State Road, Cheshire, MA 01225.
