Obituary for Joyce M. Galloway
JOYCE MARIE GALLOWAY, 70, of 304 West Housatonic Street, Pittsfield,
died Wednesday, January 9, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield, October 17, 1937, she was the daughter of Harold C. and
Minnie B. Clapper Galloway.
Miss Galloway was a member of the Berkshire County Association for Retarded
Citizens and attended BAROCO.
She enjoyed looking at magazines and having manicures.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A graveside service for JOYCE MARIE GALLOWAY, who died Wednesday,
January 9, will be today (Friday), at 11:00 a.m., at Pittsfield Cemetery, with Rev. William
D. Furey, Pastor of Berkshire Union Chapel, officiating. There are no calling hours. In
lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Miss Galloway may be made to HospiceCare
in The Berkshires in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
Miss Galloway is survived by several cousins, her beloved friends at BCARC, including her good friend, Pam Goodson, and Kenneth and Deborah Fecteau with whom she resided.
