Obituary for Josephine St. "Josie" Peter

Josephine "Josie" M. St. Peter, 79, of 102 Bryan Street, Pittsfield, died Friday, April 22, 2016, at her home.
Born in Pittsfield on March 1, 1937, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Bucci DiConza,
she was a 1955 graduate of Lenox High School and a graduate of Mayfair Beauty Academy.
Josie was a beautician and the proprietor of Josie's Kut and Kurl for ten years.
Mrs. St. Peter had been a communicant of Notre Dame Church.
She enjoyed playing golf and gardening.
Mrs. St. Peter leaves her husband, Robert N. St. Peter, who she married July 25, 1959.
She is also survived by two daughters, Lori St. Peter-Lembo and her husband, Thomas, of Dedham, and Susan St. Peter of New York; two sisters, Marguerite DiConza formerly of Albany, New York, and Thomasina Svoboda of Huntington, New York; her brother-in-law,
Norman St. Peter and his wife, GiGi of Connecticut, and Shirley Polidoro and her husband,
Frank of Pittsfield; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Josephine M. St. Peter will be private. Inurnment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Mausoleum at St. Joseph's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In
lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Western and Central Massachusetts or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, both in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
