Obituary for John D. Kickery

JOHN D. KICKERY, 55, of 5 Daniels Avenue Ext., Pittsfield, died Monday
evening at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield, January 5, 1952, the son of Catherine M. Shaw Kickery and
the late Murdick M. Kickery, he attended Pittsfield schools.
At the time of his death, Mr. Kickery was employed as an on-site supervisor for
Billy's Trucking where he had worked for 34 years.
He was a member of AARP, and a former member of the Polish Falcons Pitch
League. He enjoyed baseball and football, horseshoes, and horseracing.
Besides his mother of Pittsfield, Mr. Kickery is survived by two sons, Douglas
W. Demary and Aaron J. Demary of Pittsfield; two daughters, Jennifer A. Kickery and
Stacey M. Demary of Pittsfield; eight brothers, Kenneth E. Kickery, Roy W. Kickery,
Darwin R. Kickery, Wayne L. Kickery, Darrell V. Kickery, and Robin L. Kickery, all
of Pittsfield, Bruce E. Kickery of Northampton, and Carl D. Kickery of Boston; five
sisters, Caroline Ferry, Ethel M. Davis, and Charlotte D. Kickery , all of Pittsfield,
Dolores Davis of Mill River and Sharon Ouellette of Southwick, Massachusetts; and
ten grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for JOHN DAVID KICKERY, who died Monday, October 1,

will be Friday, October 5, at 7:00 p.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME, with Rev.

William D. Furey, Pastor of Berkshire Union Chapel, officiating. Calling hours will

precede the service from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory

of Mr. Kickery may be made to UNICO�Make a Wish in care of the Funeral Home, 54

Bradford Street, Pittsfield.

Mr. Kickery leaves his ten grandchildren, Matthew Demary, Kirsten Demary,

Shawn Demary, Kaylee Demary, Austin Demary, Tyler Demary, Kendyll Maloney,

Brandon Demary, Marissa Demary, and Serena Demary. He was pre-deceased by five

brothers, Emerson W. Kickery, Lawrence H. Kickery, Joseph P. Kickery, and by two

infant brothers.
