Obituary for John M. Fox

JOHN MICHAEL FOX, 48, of 103 Barton Hill Road, Dalton, died Sunday,
April 12, at his home.
Born in Pittsfield, March 19, 1961, a son of the late Walter B. Fox, Jr., and Shirley Cyr Fox, he was a graduate of Wahconah Regional High School, and had attended Berkshire Community College and North Adams State College (now Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts).
At the time of his death, Mr. Fox was employed by General Dynamics where he
was Supervisor of Proposal Development and Support. He had worked at General
Dynamics since August 1985.
He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family. Mr. Fox leaves his wife, the former Amy Slonski, whom he married October 14,
1983. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Shaun M. Fox of Dalton; a daughter,
Carrie J. Fox of Dalton; and two brothers, Robert J. Fox of Dalton, and Thomas E. Fox
of Orlando, Florida. He was pre-deceased by a sister, Jean Ann Fox, who died in 1962.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for JOHN MICHAEL FOX, who died Sunday, April 12, will be
Thursday, April 16, at 11:00 a.m., at DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME in Dalton, with
Rev. Mr. Pasqual Baldasaro, Deacon of St. Agnes Church, officiating. Burial will follow
in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday, April 15, from 4:00 to 7:00
p.m., at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Fox may
be made to the Wahconah Regional High School Basketball Program in care of the
Funeral Home, 890 East Main Street, Dalton.
