Obituary for Jenny B. Gaudette
Jenny B. Gaudette, 98, of Pittsfield, passed away October 25, 2022 at Mt. Greylock Extended Care Facility. Born in Cheshire, MA on September 24, 1924 to Louis and Laura Bennett Bartolomei, she was educated in Cheshire and Pittsfield schools.
She was married to the late Roland “Charlie” Gaudette.
Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Gaudette at one time was employed the Berkshire Eagle and Miss Hall’s School.
She was a communicant of the former Notre Dame Church. She enjoyed doing puzzles, collecting glassware, and playing cards. Mrs. Gaudette also took pleasure in going to tag sales and traveling to Arizona.
Mrs. Gaudette is survived by her two daughters, Pamela R. Godfrey of Pittsfield, and Linda Scarpone and husband Eddie of Phoenix, AZ. Her son, Charles “Champ” Gaudette and wife Lorilyn of Melbourne, FL. Three sisters, Adriana Anello of Cape Canaveral, FL, Sandra Shacar of Lanesboro and Victoria (Iona) Ostaski of Stephentown, NY. Ten grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by five sisters and three brothers, daughters, Shirley Gaudette and Jeannie Lacey, as well as her son-in-law, John Godfrey.
