Obituary for Jean-Paul "J.P." Becker

Jean-Paul "J.P." Becker, 58, of 82 Lincoln Street, Pittsfield, died Friday, November 1, 2013, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Washington, D.C., a son of Harold R. and Ann L. Daury Becker, he was a 1973 graduate of Lenox Memorial High School, and kept fond memories of his years as manager and scorekeeper.
Mr. Becker had worked as a bookkeeper for area hotels.
J.P.'s greatest joy was his community of friends. He found joy in helping others before himself. He also enjoyed reading, especially science fiction, and sports, and was an avid Yankees fan.
Jean-Paul leaves two brothers, Carl A. Becker of Cape Coral, Florida, and Adam L. Trachier of
Hinsdale; two sisters, Leslie A. Daley of Lee, and Gabrielle Kuehl of Huntington Beach, California; as well
as his nephews, Nicholas Becker and Joseph Daley, and his nieces, Rachel Daley, Tiffany Kuehl, Cassidy
Kuehl, and Chelsea Kuehl; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins whose support and unconditional
love through the difficult times are greatly appreciated.
J.P.'s family is forever thankful to all the unsung angels and saints in the medical and caregiving
fields for their daily heroic efforts.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Calling hours for Jean-Paul Becker will be held Thursday, November 7, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., at
DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pearl
Street Day Center in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
