Jean Mary Drumm, passed away on October 16, 2018, after a courageous fight with cancer.

She leaves her daughter Melissa Parker, her wife, Shana and their two sons, Callen and Oakley. Jean also leaves her longtime companion Janet Beals, with whom she shared her home, along with Joey the dog and Luna and George, the cats. In her final days, Janet’s sister, Terri, spent many hours caring for her.

Born on June 5, 1952, Jean graduated from Wahconah Regional High School in 1970. She was employed by many of the city’s flower shops through the years. Flowers were her passion. She loved making things with her hands, painting and making jewelry.

Jean adored giving hi-fives and spending quality time with her grandsons, Callen and Oakley in her final days, and they loved being around their Mimi also. Family was always very important to Jean.

She was predeceased by her twin sister Joan Schnopp, her brother Robert “Bob” Schnopp and her parents, David and Shirley Viani.


There will be a private celebration of life at the home of her daughter. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA.
