Janice "Stella" Romano 83, passed away at home surrounded by family on April 6, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Bernice Strout born on October 26, 1939 at home in Becket, MA where she grew up and was educated through Dalton Schools.

Stella who was known for her love of BINGO, Pitch and dolphins is survived by her 2 children Leslie Brazee and Jerry Romano, Jr. Her grandchildren Carrie Bishop and husband Joshua Bishop, Bruce Romano, Eric Brazee and Olyviana Romano. Her great-grandchildren Jacob & Caylie Gardner and Kaitlynn Bishop. Her caretaker Leslie Hill and children Arielle & Ky'ira Hill.

She is predecesed by her husband Gerard Romano, Sr., (October 1991) whom she married on May 16, 1959 and grandson Anthony Romano (April 1986).
