Obituary for Jane Lee Mazza

Jane Lee Mazza, 70, of Pittsfield, died Sunday, November 13, 2016, at Mt. Greylock
Extended Care Facility.
Born in Pittsfield on June 17, 1946, the daughter of Marshall and Leola Ladouceur Demary, she was educated in Pittsfield schools.
Mrs. Mazza was owner-operator of C&J Janitorial Cleaners for several years. She had
also worked for General Electric Company at one time.
She was a communicant of St. Charles Church.
Family was everything to Jane. She also enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, visiting the
casinos and going to tag sales.
She leaves her husband, Carl R. Mazza, whom she married in 1988.
Mrs. Mazza is survived by two sons, Jack R. Haskell and his husband, David Lince, of
Largo, Florida, and Joseph M. Haskell, Sr., and his wife, Cindy, of Dalton; two daughters,
Shirley A. Barscz of Pittsfield, and Carla Prendergast and her husband Stephen; three sisters,
Judy Garzone Sabino of Pittsfield, Joan Gillette and her husband, Richard, of Waterford, New
York, and Patricia Nunes and her husband, William, of Pittsfield; a brother, Gerald Demary and his wife, Kimberly, of Dalton; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was pre-deceased by two sisters, Betty Demary and Marilyn DeAngelus; a granddaughter, Rebecca Haskell, a great grandson, Johnathan Phones, and a brother-in-law, Raymond Sabino.


FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Jane Lee Mazza will be held Thursday, November 17, 2016, at 9:15
a.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., at St. Charles
Church celebrated by Rev. Peter A. Gregory, Pastor. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4:00
to 7:00 p.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society
in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
