Obituary for Jamie Drennan

Jamie Marie Drennan, 51, of 30 Allengate Avenue, Pittsfield, died Friday, July 13, 2012, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on July 14, 1960, a daughter of Anthony and Dolores "Dolly"
Controy Sacchetti, she was a 1978 graduate of Pittsfield High School and was a 1981
Graduate of McCann Technical Vocational School.
Mrs. Drennan was employed by Berkshire Medical Center for thirty-one years as a Certified Surgical Technologist and was the first at the hospital to achieve national certification as a Certified First Assistant under the auspices of the Liaison Council on Certification for the Surgical Technologist.
She recently received the life achievement award from McCann Technical
Vocational School. Mrs. Drennan was a member of the United States Figure Skating Association and a member of the Professional Figure Skating Club. For fifteen years, she coached figure skating at the Pittsfield Figure Skating Club.
She was an avid golfer who also enjoyed cooking. Her greatest love was her family and her students who were like family.
Mrs. Drennan leaves her husband, Richard X. Drennan of Pittsfield, whom she
married October 10, 2003.
Besides her husband and her parents, Mrs. Drennan also leaves two brothers, Jay Sacchetti and his wife, Nancy, of Pittsfield, and Mark Sacchetti and his wife, Rosy, of Pittsfield; a sister, Charlene Caritey and her husband, Michael, of Pittsfield; a son,
Brandon A. Lewis of New York City; nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her dog, Bandit.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Jamie Marie Drennan will be held Monday, July 16, with a
Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., at St. Charles Church concelebrated by Rev. Peter A. Gregory, Pastor, and her uncle, Rev. Lawrence Drennan. Calling hours will be Sunday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m, also at St. Charles Church. In lieu of flowers, contri-butions in memory of Mrs. Drennan may be made to HospiceCare in The Berkshires or to the Pittsfield Figure Skating Club both in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
