Obituary for James E. White

JAMES ELLIOT WHITE, 45, of 225 Benedict Road, Pittsfield, died Saturday,
November 29, at Albany Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield, October 27, 1963, the son of Claire Enright White and the late Elliot C. White, he was a 1982 graduate of Taconic High School. Mr. White was employed by Pyramid Mold, Inc., in Pittsfield, where he worked
20 years as a tool maker.
A great outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, he was a member of the
Pittsfield Sportsmen's Club. He also enjoyed snowmobiling. At one time, he raced motor
cross. His greatest love was spending time with his son. Mr. White leaves his wife, the former Michele Clemons whom he married October 21, 1995.
Besides his mother and his wife, Mr. White is survived by his son and best friend, Kodey White of Pittsfield. Mr. White is also survived by three brothers, Dennis Duquette and his wife, Ann,of Maine; Thomas White and his wife, In-Shuk, of Pittsfield; and Jeff White of Pittsfield; two sisters, Patricia Jones of Pittsfield and Susan Giles and her husband, Dennis of Connecticut; nieces, Tina Newton, Kim Giles, Nicole Giles, Corbi Duquette, Jennifer
White, Denese Duquette, Debbie Kirchner, Jessica White, and Renee Procopio; nephews,
Brad Newton, Jeffrey Duquette, Dave White, Paulie Procopio, and several great nephews
and nieces; as well as his mother- and father-in-law, Meredith and Jerry Clemons of
Pittsfield; sister- and brother-in-law, Charlene and Paul Procopio of Pittsfield; his hunting
buddies, and his two dogs, Hunter and Sadie.
He was pre-deceased by a brother, Gerald Duquette in 2003, and his beloved
dog, Chief.

FUNERAL NOTICE:Funeral services for JAMES ELLIOT WHITE, who died Saturday, November 29,
will be held Thursday, December 4, at 9:15 a.m., from DERY FUNERAL HOME, with a
Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Charles Church, celebrated by Rev. Peter
A. Gregory, Pastor. Calling hours will be today, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the
Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. White may be
made to Kodey White for his future education.
