Obituary for James A. Mottor

James A. Mottor, 81, of 545 Middlefield Road, Hinsdale died Sunday at Craneville Place in Dalton, Ma.
Born on August 19, 1931 in Pittsfield a son of the late Frank and Mary Stone Mottor. He attended schools in Hinsdale and Pittsfield.
He was a US Army Korean War Veteran.
Mr. Mottor was a paper maker for Byron Weston Mill in Dalton for 30 years retiring in 1984.
He enjoyed gardening, fishing, working around his home and workshop. He was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church. James was a good man who was always willing to help other people. He leaves his wife the former, Bessie S. Gero whom he married on Oct. 29, 1951 at St. Agnes Church in Dalton. Two sons, Michael Mottor and his wife Joanne of Pownal, Vt. And Steven Mottor and his wife Teresa of Pittsfield. A Brother, Edward Mottor and a sister, Lena McDonald both of Dalton.
9 Grandsons, 5 great grandsons and 6 great granddaughters. He was predeceased by two sisters, Liz Henkel and Jane Manning and by two brothers, Walter and Arthur Mottor.

FUNERAL NOTICE: At Mr. Mottor's request there are no services or calling hours.
Memorials in his memory may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital or to the Hinsdale Ambulance both in care of DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 890 East Main St. Dalton, Ma. 01226.
