Obituary for irene A. Mele
Irene A. Mele, 87, of Pittsfield, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2013, at
Berkshire Medical Center.
She was the beloved wife of Patrick J. Mele, Sr.
Mrs. Melle is survived by her loving husband, Patrick; two sons, Vincent A. Filpi,
II., of Freeport, Fla., and Michael P. Filpi of Pittsfield; two daughters, Marisa E. Pallos
of Pittsfield, and Tanya M. Grillon of Pittsfield; and a brother, Robert McLaughlin of
Pittsfield. She also leaves nine grandchildren and one great grandchild who were the
love of her life.
Irene enjoyed going to dinner with her family and going for rides in the country-
side, especially to get an ice cream cone at Gardner's in Stephentown, N.Y.
FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Irene A. Mele will be private. The DERY FUNERAL
HOME is in charge of arrangements.
