Obituary for Ida Marie Bennett
Ida Marie Bennett, 80, of Mount Carmel Care Center in Lenox, passed away September 23, 2022 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
Born in Pittsfield on May 16, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Ida Tucker Bennett.
She attended Pittsfield schools. Miss. Bennett worked for many years at Miss Halls School in the kitchen. She enjoyed playing BINGO, and loved butterflies and hummingbirds.
She is survived by her sister, Annie M. Bennett of Lenox, MA. A brother-in-law, Robert L. Tucker of Pittsfield. Her niece, Joan Dorgan of Niagara Falls, NY. Her two dogs, Beau and Paden who brought her great joy.
She was predeceased by her brother Wallace Bennett and two sisters, Joan Bennett and Gertrude Tucker.
Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
