Obituary for Henry Boc

Henry Boc, 85, of 18 Grove Street died Wednesday at home. Born on March 16, 1929 in Maly Plock, Poland, he was the son of the late Aleksander and Zofia Szczech Boc. He was educated in Poland and immigrated to the United States in 1966. He was employed for over twenty years as an assembler at General Electric in the Transformer Division. He retired in 1990. Mr. Boc was a communicant of St. Joseph Church and the former Holy Family Church. He enjoyed gardening and tending to his geraniums. He leaves his wife, the former Aleksandera Zuzga Boc of Pittsfield whom he married in June of 1953. His son; Eric Boc and his wife Izabela of Pittsfield and his grandchildren; Jennifer and Michael Boc. He also leaves his brother; Mieczyslaw Boc of Torun, Poland. He was predeceased by his four sisters; Helen Gelaznik, Jadwiga Kowaleska, Genowefa Podsiod and Regina B. Lysecki.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Henry Boc will be held Monday at 8:15 AM from the DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM at St. Joseph Church celebrated by the Rev. Monsignor Michael Shershanovich, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
