Obituary for Helen M. Cebula

HELEN MARION CEBULA, 93, formerly of Rose Manor and of Cadwell
Road, Pittsfield, died Tuesday, September 2, at Craneville Place of Dalton.
Born in Adams, April 22, 1915, a daughter of Karl and Henrietta Stachura
Rokowski, she attended schools in Adams.
Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Cebula had also, at one time, worked at the
former Berkshire Fine Spinning and the former Elmvale Worsted Company.
She was a communicant of the former Holy Family Church. She loved to bake.
She also enjoyed bingo and game shows, and playing table games with her grandchildren.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother.
Her husband, John Cebula, whom she married October 26, 1936, died February 3,
1994. Mrs. Cebula was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great
grandmother. She is survived by a son, Michael J. Cebula and his wife, S. Dianne of Pittsfield;
two daughters, Mary Ann Marcella, and her husband, Ronald, Sr., of Dalton, and Gladys
F. Manship of Ashburnham, eleven grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and two great
great grandchildren.
She is survived by a grandson, Michael J. Cebula, Jr., and his wife, Debbi, and
their children, Michael, Kristen (her significant other Jonathan Pierce and there identical twins, Alex and Max),
and Matthew and Mark; Michell [no e] Jodin and her husband, Ernest, and
their children, Kimberly and Katie; John Cebula and his wife, Melissa, and their son,
John; Colleen Wright and her husband, Brian, and their children, Abigail, Andrew, and
Amanda; Christopher Cebula and his wife, Donna, and their Children, Sarah, and Adam.;
Ronald Marcella, Jr., and his wife, Diane, and their children, Ronald III and Jessica;
Antonio, Sr. and his wife, Teresa, and their children, Antonio, Jr., Meghan, Emily; Ann
Marie Forfa and her husband, Thomas, and their children, Ryan and Ethan Forfa; Stephen
Pepin and his wife, Marie, and their children, Jamie and Jeremy Wilson and Alexis
Rudka; David Pepin and his wife, Valerie, and their children, Tyler and Cody; Thomas
Pepin and his wife, Sherie, and their children, Kyle, Mark, and Sean; as well as great
great grandchildren, Tyler Butler, Caitlyn Wilson, and Brandon Wilson.
Mrs. Cebula was pre-deceased by a son-in-law, John Manship, her brother,
Walker Rokowski, and sisters, Frances Saldo, Julia Martin, and Anna Rokowski.



FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for HELEN MARION CEBULA, who died
Tuesday, September 2, will be held Friday, September 5, at 12:00 noon at St. Charles
Church celebrated by Rev. Peter A. Gregory, Pastor. Burial will follow in St.
Joseph's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in
memory of Mrs. Cebula may be made to the Neonatal Cardiac Intensive Care Unit
at Boston Children's Hospital in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford
Street, Pittsfield.
