Obituary for Harriet Snyder Butler

HARRIET JUNE SNYDER BUTLER, 86, of 22 Porter Avenue, Dalton, died Sunday, February 17, 2013, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Dalton, September 13, 1926, a daughter of James H. and Jessie Porter
Snyder, she was educated in Dalton schools and was a 1943 graduate of the former Dalton High School.
Mrs. Butler was employed as an Executive Secretary starting with E.D. Jones and
continuing with the company as it became a part of Beloit Corporation. She retired in 1985 with 37 ½ years service.
She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Dalton.
She enjoyed life and her family and was the family caregiver.
Her husband, David A. Butler, whom she married November 26, 1970, died
November 18, 2005.
Mrs. Butler is survived by a stepdaughter, Kathleen Baccynski and her husband,
Edmund, of Weatherford, Texas, and their two children, Katy and Peter Baccynski; and
many nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by her brothers, George Snyder, James Snyder, Ralph Snyder, Willis Snyder, Charles Snyder, John Snyder, and Robert Snyder; her sisters, Evelyn Hilton and Jessie Blake; and her nephew, Edward Robinson.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
A graveside service for HARRIET JUNE SNYDER BUTLER will be held in the Spring, at a date and time to be announced, at Ashuelot Cemetery in Dalton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Butler may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of the DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 890 East Main Street, Dalton.
