Obituary for Halina Baginski

Halina Baginski, 99, formerly of Unkamet Park Drive, Pittsfield, passed away on March 10, 2021 at Sugar Hill in Dalton, MA.

Born on December 1, 1921 in Brzesc, Poland, daughter of Edward and Franciszka K. Jezierski, she was educated in Poland.

She came to the United States in 1947 and was employed by the Stimson Insurance Agency in Greenfield, MA.

She met and married Tadeusz “Ted” Baginski on June 24, 1950. They moved to Pittsfield, MA in 1956. She was employed in the Finance Department of the General Electric Company and retired as a cashier from G.E.
Plastics Accounting Department in 1982.

She was a member of the G.E. Quarter Century and Pensioners Clubs and Berkshire Hills Country Club. She was a Red Cross Volunteer.

She enjoyed skiing, playing golf and bridge, traveling and taking long walks with her husband. Her husband Tadeusz “Ted” Baginski died on April 16, 2011. They were married 60 years.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at Pittsfield Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
