Gregory L. Riello Jr., 70, of Pittsfield, passed away January 19, 2018 at home. Born December 16, 1947 to the late Alma L. Saracione Riello and Gregory L. Riello, Sr., he was a graduate of Mt. Greylock Regional High School.

After high school, Mr. Riello joined the US Army and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He married the former Marianne Dearstyne, July 31, 1987.

Gregory was a bartender for many years in Boston, and also worked at the Cable Mill in North Adams. He was a fan of the Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, and New England Patriots.

Besides his wife Marianne of 30 years, he leaves behind his granddaughter Maryann Belanger of Pittsfield, step-son Robert Dearstyne of Pittsfield, two brothers, Daniel Riello of Pittsfield and Ralph Riello of Adams.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A memorial service for Gregory L. Riello will be held, at 6:00pm, Friday, February 16, 2018 at Dery Funeral Home in Pittsfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Care in the Berkshires.
