Obituary for Gloria Ann Williams

Gloria Ann Williams, 71, of 111 McArthur Street, Pittsfield, a former longtime resident of Lee, died Friday, January 4, 2013, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.

Born in Massachusetts on July 13, 1941, a daughter of Aldo and Lauretta ChalouxBertelli, she was educated in Lee schools.

Mrs. Williams was a homemaker. At one time, she had been a nurse's aide at the Berkshire Hills North Nursing Home on Prospect Street in Lee.
She had been a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd and of St. George Episcopal Church, both in Lee.

She enjoyed traveling and cooking and baking.

Her husband, Carl I. Williams, Sr., died March 15, 2000.

Mrs. Williams is survived by three sons, Robert F. Williams, Carl I. Williams, and Jeffrey A. Williams, all of Pittsfield; two daughters, Bernadette A. Williams and her companion, Jeff, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Laurie L. Lebevre and her husband, Matt, of Ocala, Florida; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by a brother, Robert Bertelli, who died in 2001.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Gloria Ann Williams will be held Friday, January 11, at 11:00 a.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Jennifer Gregg, Priest Associate of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery in Lee. Calling hours will be Thursday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
