Obituary for Gerald P. Scott Jr.

Gerald Philip Scott, Jr., 53, of 173 Robbins Avenue, Pittsfield, died Thursday, January 19,
2017, of injuries sustained in a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident.
Born in Pittsfield on January 10, 1964, the son of Gerald P. Scott, Sr. and Joan Todd Scott, he attended local schools.
Mr. Scott was employed as a handyman.
He was a member of the Berkshire Hills Seventh Day Adventist Church where he
attended in Bible Study classes. He is remembered as one who lived his faith trusting God in
all circumstances.
He enjoyed cars and trucks. But, it was his 4-year-old daughter, Lilly, who was his
everything.
Besides Lilly, he is survived by two brothers, Gerald S. Scott and Eddie Todd, both of Pittsfield; two sisters, Deborah Gould of Billerica, and Lauren Scott of Minnesota; as well his beloved cousin, Becky Scott, and his nieces and nephews.


FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Gerald Philip Scott, Jr. will be held at a date and time to be announced at the
Berkshire Hills Seventh Day Adventist Church (Route 8, Lanesborough) with Rev. Dennis Farley, Pastor, officiating.
A time of remembrance will be held at a date and time to be announced at The Christian
Center in Pittsfield where Mr. Scott both received and gave back.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to The Christian
Center in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
