Obituary for Gerald F. McCluskey

GERALD FRANCIS McCLUSKEY, 71, of 68 Yokun Street, Pittsfield, died
Monday, January 5, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield, April 17, 1937, the son of James and Francesca McCluskey,
he was educated in Pittsfield schools.
Mr. McCluskey was first employed by Kelly Lumber Company where he worked
many years and then went to work for General Electric Company as a materials handler
from where he retired after many years service.
An avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, he was a member of the
Pittsfield Sportsmen's Club He also enjoyed his dogs.
Mr. McCluskey is survived by a stepsister, Rose Martini, of Pittsfield; his
longtime companion, Kathleen A. Frank of Savoy; and several nieces.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A graveside service for GERALD FRANCIS McCLUSKEY, who died Monday,
January 5, will be Friday, January 9, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Joseph's Cemetery (Section 25)
with Rev. Msgr. Michael A. Shershanovich, Pastor of St. Joseph Church, officiating.
There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr.
McCluskey may be made to Friends of Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter in care of
DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
