Obituary for Gerald Boesse

Gerald Boesse, 75, Dad, Gramps, Paw, Way Cool of 39 Dartmouth Street, Pittsfield, died Thursday, February 26, 2015, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Stockbridge, Ma. on September 17, 1939, the son of Everett and Margaret Ross Boesse, he was a graduate of Drury High School.
He served overseas with the United States Army during peacetime.
Mr. Boesse was last employed as a shipper in the Shipping and Receiving Department
at Hillcrest Hospital from where he retired in 2003 with ten years service. Prior to that, he worked for Sheaffer-Eaton Paper Company for twenty eight years.
He enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching "Jeopardy", and spending time with
his family.
Mr. Boesse's wife, the former Linda Lucille Newbury, whom he married July 4, 1964,
died February 15, 2002.
He is survived by two daughters, Ann-Margaret Millien of Pittsfield, and Deborah J.
DuPuis and her husband, Mark, of Eustis, Fla.; a son, Gerald "Hank" Boesse and his wife, Tracy,
of Monongahela, Penn.; a brother, Edward Brille and his wife, Cheryl, of East Chatham, N.Y.; and eight grandchildren, Anthony Millien, Cody Millien, Richard Boesse DuPuis, Justin Boesse
DuPuis, Trevor Boesse DuPuis, Mark DuPuis, Jr., Alexis Boesse, and Reilly Boesse.
He was pre-deceased by a brother, Donald Boesse, and two sisters, Mary Loring and
Judith Hooks.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Calling hours for Gerald Boesse will be Monday, March 2, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at
DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield. Burial will be at a later date in St. Aloysius Cemetery in
Indian Orchard, Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospital (Springfield) in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
