Obituary for George A. Tesoniero III

George Anthony Tesoniero, III., 57, of 131 Marsh Point, Hilton Head, South
Carolina, formerly of Pittsfield, died Friday, July 26, 2013, at his home.
Born in Pittsfield on February 17, 1956, a son of Lavina "Lee" Gunderson
Tesoniero Perri and the late George A. Tesoniero, who died in 1960, and the late
Joseph E. Perri, Sr., who raised him since the age of 7. He was educated in Pittsfield schools.
Mr. Tesoniero was a salesman for Hilton Head Honda for eleven years until
becoming ill.
He was a member of Resurrection Church. While in Pittsfield, he was a com-
municant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
Mr. Tesoniero was the World No. 1 Yankees fan. In his youth, he was an avid
baseball player. He enjoyed attending his sons' sporting events and playing golf.
Mr. Tesoniero leaves his mother, Lee Perri, of Pittsfield; two sons, George A.
Tesoniero, IV., of Hilton Head, South Carolina, and Christian P. Tesoniero of Bluffton,
South Carolina; two brothers, Thomas J. Tesoniero and Joseph E. Perri, Jr., and his wife,
Melissa, both of Pittsfield; and three sisters, Denise M. Marshall and her husband, Howard, Diane C. Casella and her husband, Joseph, and Barbara A. Perri, all of Pittsfield.
He was pre-deceased by his fathers and by a sister, Robin C. Perri.
The family would like to thank Tamara Watson and the staff of Hospice of the
Lowcountry, Hilton Head.


FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for George Anthony Tesoniero, III., will be held Thursday,
August 1, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church
celebrated by Rev. James K. Joyce, Pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to
Hospice of the Lowcountry or to the Deep Well Project, both in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
