Obituary for Gary L. Davey

Gary Lorne Davey, 60, of 437 Wells Road, Becket, died Thursday, March 14, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Chicopee on August 28, 1952, a son of Albert and Rosamond E. King
Davey, he was educated in South Hadley schools and was a graduate of Dunnellon
(Florida) High School.
He had served with the United States Army; he was also a member of the American Legion.
Mr. Davey was last employed as a repair technician for Coin Star in Springfield.
He enjoyed crossword puzzles, skiing, bowling, tennis, and the Texas Rangers.
Mr. Davey is survived by two brothers, Hollis Giles and his wife: Bonnie of
Becket, and Ron Davey and his partner: Lynn Malkoff both of Texas; two sisters: Tracey DelCamp and her husband: Robert
of New Jersey, and Deborah Davey of Becket; four nephews: Joshua Sherwin, Zack
Davey, Don Endres, Jr., and Rogan DelCamp; and three nieces: Zoe Davey, Theresa
Moreno-Uribe, and Rose DelCamp.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Services for Gary L. Davey will be held at a later date in North Becket Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Oncology Department at Noble Hospital in Westfield in care of DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 890 East Main Street, Dalton.
