Obituary for Evelyn Wetherell Streeter

EVELYN WETHERELL STREETER, 89, of 258 Forest Hill Drive, Hinsdale,formerly of 41 Waubeek Road, Pittsfield, died Tuesday, February 2, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Stephentown, New York, on December 31, 1920, the daughter of Henry
and Elizabeth Wheeler Ketcham, she was a graduate of Lebanon Valley High School.
Evelyn was employed by the Pittsfield Public Schools for thirty years, retiring from the former North Junior High School where she as Head Cook. Prior to that, she had worked at the Litchman Tannery Corporation in Pittsfield.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Pittsfield. She was also a member
of the 59ers Club.
Evelyn was a Red Cross blood donor. She was a volunteer at Berkshire Medical
Center for many years and a volunteer for RSVP for several years.
She enjoyed cross-stitching, baking, and attending musical products at The Barn
in Chatham, New York, with her sister-in-law, Mildred Ketcham.
Evelyn's first husband, Charles Sumner Wetherell, died on July 27, 1973. Her
second husband, Paul E. Streeter, died on November 17, 1991.
She leaves three sons, Charles E. Wetherell and his wife, Karen, of Pittsfield,
Warren H. Wetherell and his wife, Kimberley, of Peru, and Terry J. Wetherell and his
wife, Deborah, with whom she made her home for the past 15 years in Hinsdale; a
daughter-in-law, Rosemary Wetherell, of Hinsdale; ten grandchildren and seventeen
great grandchildren. She also leaves two sisters, Gertrude Baker and Marlene Hammond, both of Pittsfield, and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Gerald and Henry Ketcham.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for EVELYN WETHERELL STREETER will be private.
Burial will be in Garfield Cemetery in Stephentown. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Evelyn may be made to HospiceCare in The
Berkshires in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
