Obituary for Evelyn D. Busch

EVELYN DENNO BUSCH, 84, of Kimball Farms, Lenox, died Tuesday, January
15, at Kimball Farms Nursing Care Facility.
Born in Pittsfield, August 15, 1923, the daughter of William E. and Edith J.
Bouton Denno, she was a graduate of Pittsfield High School, the former Berkshire
Business College, and the Gemological Institute of America in Los Angeles, California.
Mrs. Busch was the registered jeweler for the family firm of Denno's Jewelers for thirty-
five years and a member of the American Gem Society.
She received her private's pilot's license in June of 1946, and was a member of
the Civil Air Patrol at that time
Mrs. Busch was a member of the former St. Luke's Hospital Auxiliary, Berkshire
Medical Center Auxiliary, Berkshire Museum Auxiliary, the Country Club of Pittsfield,
and the Imperial Golf Club of Naples, Florida.
She leaves her husband, J. Robert Busch, whom she married May 8, 1948 at the
former Notre Dame Church in Pittsfield. They would have celebrated 60 years of
marriage in May.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Busch is survived by two sons, Mark William Busch
of Pittsfield, and J. Robert Busch, Jr. of Littleton, Colorado; a daughter, Dianne Marie
Glick of New Ashford; a sister, Shirley Fusco of Wilbraham; and six grandchildren.


FUNERAL NOTICE:A memorial mass for EVELYN DENNO BUSCH, who died Tuesday, January
15, will be held Saturday, January 19, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Ann Church in Lenox,
celebrated by Rev. James K. Joyce, Pastor of Sacred Heart Church. A reception will
follow at the Country Club of Pittsfield from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. There are no
calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Busch may be made to HospiceCare in The Berkshire in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street,
Pittsfield.Mrs. Busch also leaves her daughters-in-law, Anita (Mrs. Mark) and Lois
"Bunny" (Mrs. J. Robert); her son-in-law, Dr. Benjamin Glick; and her six beloved
grandchildren, Amanda and Jason Busch of Pittsfield, Brian, Scott, and John Busch of
Littleton, Colorado, and Robert M. Glick of New Ashford.
