ERNEST C. VAIL, 78, of 29 Lovers Lane, New Lebanon, New York, died
Friday, January 25, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. Born in Proctor, Vermont, May 24, 1929, son of Chauncey and Wardleigh Hull
Vail, he attended schools in Vermont.
At the time of his death, Mr. Vail was a farmer at the Fairweather Farm in New
Lebanon where he had farmed since 1954. Prior to coming to New Lebanon, he farmed
in Vermont.He enjoyed bowling, and fishing and hunting. Mr. Vail leaves his wife, the former Harriet M. Lilly, whom he married July 10, 1953.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Donna M. Moshimer, her husband
Bill, of Glen Rock, Pennsylvania; a sister, Marjolaine Frank of Gibstown, New Jersey;
two granddaughters, Julie Feckley and Lisa Alvarez, and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours for ERNEST C. VAIL, who died Friday, January 25, will be
Wednesday, January 30, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54
