Obituary for Erik Charles Parker
Erik Charles Parker, 38, of South Glens Falls, NY, formerly of Pittsfield, MA, passed away June 1, 2020 at Berkshire Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Pittsfield on May 17, 1982, he was the son of Donna Schiffman Parker and the late Charles H. Parker.
He was a graduate of Taconic High School 2000 and worked as a chef for many years.
Erik married the former Kelly Tomaselli on August 4, 2019.
He enjoyed going to the gym, traveling, eating, the ocean, making people laugh and being surrounded by his loved ones.
He leaves behind his wife Kelly Parker and unborn baby, of South Glens Falls, NY; his mother, Donna Parker of Pittsfield; his sister, Shana and wife Melissa and their children, Callen and Oakley of Pittsfield; his father and mother-in-law Patrick and Marie Tomaselli of Whitesboro, NY. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law, Heather Lubey and husband Will and their children Anthony and Ethan of New York Mills, NY. He also leaves many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins behind.
He was an amazing loving husband, and a soon to be father with a little one on way. He was so happy to finally be able to have a family and could not wait until his little one would arrive. He had one of the biggest hearts and always wanted to see others happy. Erik, I will miss you more than you will ever know and I will love you forever and always. Please just watch and protect me and the baby like I know you would if you were here. I will make sure that our baby grows up and knows who you are and how much you loved them.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Celebration of Life will be held on July 12th at the home of his mother, 107 Chapel St, Pittsfield, MA from 11 am to 2 pm. Please wear a mask. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his wife Kelly to help her and their unborn child through mailing contributions to 10 Ellis Ave, Whitesboro, NY 13492. DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA is handling the arrangements.
