Obituary for Elizabeth Martha Voss
Elizabeth Martha Voss, age 91, a well-loved resident of Hillcrest Commons Nursing Home, died Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Hillcrest Commons. She was born on February 13, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of the late Henry R. and Emma L. Mohrmann Voss. She was educated and graduated from Brooklyn schools. She continued her education and received an Associates Degree in Business Management.
Elizabeth had worked for over ten years as a clerk in the foreign money exchange in the Bahamas. She returned to Pittsfield in the 1980s to take care of family.
Elizabeth was pre-deceased by her sister: Florence L. Voss, who passed away in July 2002.
Funeral services will be private with burial in Pittsfield Cemetery. The DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield is in charge of arrangements.
