Elizabeth Corner Swanson ( 84) , of 23-A Highview Drive, Pittsfield, died Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at her home.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, on June 16, 1932, the daughter of Raymond and Elisabeth
MacAlpin Severe, she was educated in Maryland and New York schools.
Mrs. Swanson was a homemaker. She had, in earlier years, worked for England Brothers
Department Store. She was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.
She leaves her husband, Bradford Swanson, whom she married April 24, 1954.
Mrs. Swanson is also survived by three sons, William B. Swanson and his companion, Pat, of Adams, Robert K. Swanson of Dalton, and Bruce D. Swanson and his wife, Linda, of Groton, Mass.; a sister, Jessie Robson of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, Skylar Swanson, Aubrey Swanson, Brianne Swanson, Benjamin Swanson, and Anna Swanson; and a great granddaughter, Lily.
