Obituary for Elizabeth M. Kubica

ELIZABETH M. KUBICA, 86, of Springside of Pittsfield, formerly of Bel Air
Avenue, Pittsfield, died Saturday, April 12, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Budskowice, Poland, September 20, 1921, the daughter of Vincent and
Teresa Cader Gluza, she had attended St. Joseph Central High School.
Mrs. Kubica was a homemaker.
She was a communicant of Holy Family Church where she sang in the choir. She
enjoyed cooking.
Her husband, Theodore Z. Kubica, whom she married October 23, 1943, in Holy
Family Church, died October 18, 2007.
Mrs. Kubica is survived by a son, Michael Kubica of Hawaii; two daughters,
Teresa Lamon of Jensen Beach, Florida and Stephanie Adornetto of Pittsfield; six grand-
children and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Kubica was pre-deceased by a son, Thaddeus
Kubica, who died at age 21, as well as a brother, Stanley Gluza and a sister, Stephanie
Wisniewski.


FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for ELIZABETH M. KUBICA will be Wednesday, April 16, at
8:15 a.m, from DERY FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:00
a.m., at Holy Family Church, celebrated by Rev. Msgr. Michael A. Shershanovich,Pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of
flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Kubica may be made to Holy Family Church in
care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
