Obituary for Elizabeth Helen Hebert

Elizabeth Helen Hebert, 91, of 35 Jacoby Avenue, Pittsfield, died Monday, March 6, 2017, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on January 21, 1926, the daughter of Otto and Elizabeth Elsenson
Neilson, she was educated in Pittsfield schools and attended Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Hebert was employed by the former Grand Union Supermarket where she was a
cashier for more than twenty years.
Mrs. Hebert also assisted her husband in the operation of his business, Al's Diesel, and
also played Hawaiian guitar in her husband's quartet.
She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
Her husband, Alfred A. Hebert, whom she married September 7, 1946, died November 7, 1998.
Mrs. Hebert is survived by a son, David A. Hebert of Fort Myers, Fla.; a daughter, Patricia A. Eddy and her husband, Lynn, of Pittsfield; five grandchildren, Timothy Hebert, Tamara Hebert, Kerri L. Najimy (and her husband, Robert), Matthew L. Eddy (and Jesse Buchinski), and
Jorel Hebert; five great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren; as well as her brother-in-law, Martin Hebert and his wife Eleanor of Williamsburg, Mass. She was pre-deceased by her son, Gary S. Hebert, and two sisters, Doris King and Mille
Delsignor.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Elizabeth H. Hebert will be held Friday, March 10, at 10:00 a.m., at
DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield with Rev. Peter A. Gregory, Pastor of St. Charles Church,
officiating. Burial will be in Richmond Center Cemetery in the Spring.
Calling hours will be Thursday, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elder Services of Berkshire
