Obituary for Elizabeth Margaret Evangelisto
Elizabeth Margaret Evangelisto, 73, of Dalton, passed away February 6, 2022 at her home.
She was born in Pittsfield on December 14, 1948 to Joseph and Jeannette Robeaux Legault. Elizabeth attended local schools and was a graduate of Pittsfield High School.
She married Joseph Evangelisto on July 13, 1967.
Primarily a homemaker, at one time Mrs. Evangelisto was a cook at Greylock Nursing Home.
She was a member of Berkshire Full Gospel Church, and Christian Assembly, as well as Jimmy Swaggart Ministries.
Mrs. Evangelisto is survived by her husband of 54 years, Joseph Evangelisto of Dalton; daughter, Amy Guyer and husband Jeff of Pittsfield; two sons, Joseph Evangelisto and wife Robin of Bradenton, FL and Thomas Evangelisto of Pittsfield; brother Thomas Legault and wife Paula of Pittsfield and Joseph Legault of Pennsylvania. Grandchildren, Elisha, Katarina, Makenzie, Casey, Amanda, Christopher, Alexandra, and Logan; and two great-grandchildren, Elliana and Tahani.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Mrs. Evangelisto will be held MONDAY, February 14, 2022 at 1 p.m. at DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield. Entombment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Mausoleum in St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will precede the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. As the family requests the omission of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in care of the funeral home.
