Obituary for Elizabeth "Betty" Delaney
Elizabeth “Betty” Delaney, of Lenox, entered peacefully into eternal rest on January 14, 2018. Born October 10, 1926, the daughter of the late Steven V. and Sabra (Bowen) Delaney of Cheshire, MA.
She attended local schools and graduated from Adams High in 1944. From 1945-1948 she was a member of the WWII Nursing Corp graduating from the Bishop Memorial School of Nursing on March 4, 1948.
Her adult life was spent in the Boston area working as a psychiatric nurse at MA State Hospital returning to the Berkshires after retirement.
She is survived by 3 nieces, 4 nephews, many grand, great-grand, and great-great-grand nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. She is pre-deceased by her sisters Catherine and Barbara Jean.
