Obituary for Elaine Trudell
Elaine Patterson Trudell, 90, formerly of Dalton, MA, passed away January 31, 2022 at Mt. Greylock Extended Care Facility.
Born September 5, 1931 in Pittsfield, MA, she was the daughter of Lloyd and Gladys (Hunt) Patterson.
She was a 1949 graduate of Dalton High School and attended Berkshire Business College.
Elaine married Henry J. Trudell on April 24, 1954. They had two children together. Daughter, Deborah Huff of Melbourne, FL and Son, Richard Trudell of Dalton.
Mrs. Trudell worked as a volunteer for 20 years at the American Red Cross, and for 11 years at the Center School Library. She was a communicant of St. Agnes Church, where she was in the choir and served as its sacristan. She also had worked for Dery-Foley Funeral Home.
Besides her husband and children, she is survived by her sister, Shirley Dill of Adams, MA. She was predeceased by three brothers, Robert, Richard, and Stephen Patterson.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held, TUESDAY, February 8, 2022 at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, celebrated by Rev. Christopher Malatesta, Pastor. Burial will follow at Ashuelot Cemetery. Calling hours will be held, MONDAY, February 7, 2022 from 4 to 6 p.m. at DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 890 E. Main Street, Dalton. In her memory, donations may be made to St. Agnes Church or the Dalton Fire Department, both in care of the funeral home.
