Obituary for Eileen F. Schnopp

Eileen F. Schnopp, 80, of 9 Crane Avenue in Dalton died Friday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born on April 5, 1926 in Pittsfield, MA she was a daughter of the late Richard and Elizabeth Baumann Fox. A lifelong resident of Dalton she was educated in Dalton schools and was a 1944 graduate of the former Dalton High School. She was employed as a production planner for over forty years at General Electric Company in Pittsfield. She retired in 1986. A communicant of St. Agnes Church, her greatest joy was her family. She leaves a sister, Betty Martenson of Springfield and three nephews.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Eileen F. Schnopp, 80, of Dalton who died June 9, 2006 will be private. Burial will take place in the family lot in Ashuelot Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Eileen leaves her loving sister, Betty Martenson of Springfield, her three nephews, Kris Martenson of Springfield, Jon Martensson and his wife Lisa both of East Longmeadow, MA and Eric Martenson of Springfield. She also leaves a grand nephew, Spencer Martensson and a grand niece, Seneca Martensson. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Dalton Ambulance Fund in care of the DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME 890 Main Street , Dalton, MA 01226 which is in charge of arrangements.
