Obituary for Edna D. Pelletier

Mrs. Edna D. Pelletier, 94, formerly of Union Court in Pittsfield died Sunday at Springside of Pittsfield where she had resided for the past three days. Born on January 29, 1912 in Lawrence, MA she was a daughter of the late James and Delia Robidoux Sheridan. She was educated in Lawrence, MA schools and had resided in Pittsfield since 1933. From 1961 to 1991 she returned to Lawrence. She had also resided at Cameron House in Lenox at onetime. She was the wife of the late Edgar Pelletier whom she married in 1936. He died in 1988. A homemaker, she had worked at onetime in Lawrence in the 1960's. She was a communicant of St. Charles Church. She enjoyed ceramics, bingo and knitting. She leaves a son, Ronald J. Pelletier of Pittsfield and a sister, Catherine Nault of North Andover, MA and two grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A memorial service for Edna D. Pelletier, 94, of Pittsfield who died October 1, 2006 will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at St. Charles Church celebrated by the Rev. Peter Gregory, pastor. Following cremation burial will take place in St. Mary -Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA. There are no calling hours. She also leaves two grandchildren, David Pelletier and Gerry Anne Pelletier. Mrs. Pelletier was predeceased by six brothers and a sister.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Charles Church in care of the Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St. Pittsfield, MA which is in charge of arrangements.
