Obituary for Edna Doris Deutsch

Edna Doris Deutsch, 86, formerly of Darlene Avenue, Pittsfield, died Tuesday,
January 15, 2013, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Newark, New Jersey, on September 10, 1926, a daughter of Salvatore and Florence Lanzetta Bibona, she was a graduate of Central High School in Newark, New Jersey.
Mrs. Deutsch was a homemaker. While in New Jersey, she worked in the Unemployment Office in Newark, New Jersey.
Mrs. Deutsch was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.
She enjoyed spending time with her family. In earlier years, she also enjoyed knitting, ceramics, and playing bingo with friends.
Her husband, Andrew P. Deutsch, married November 14, 1953, in East Orange,
New Jersey, died October 1, 2010.
Mrs. Deutsch is survived by a son, Alan A. Deutsch and his wife, Denise, of
Pittsfield, and a daughter, Cynthia A. Rochelo and her husband, Wayne, of Pittsfield; four
grandchildren, Stephanie Deutsch, Alana Deutsch, Brandon Rochelo, and Kyle Rochelo;
and a brother, Frank Bibona and his wife, Aurora, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey.
She was pre-deceased by her sister, Elsie Bibona Thornton.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Edna Doris Deutsch will be held Friday, October 18, at 9:30 a.m. from DERY FUNERAL HOME with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., at
Sacred Heart Church celebrated by Rev. James K. Joyce, Pastor. Entombment will follow in St. Michael the Archangel Mausoleum at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours
will be Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be
made to Sacred Heart Church in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
