Obituary for Dorothy "Dot" Salvatore

Dorothy "Dot" Sandra Salvatore, 77, of Rose Manor, 195 Elberon Avenue, Pittsfield, died Thursday, November 15, 2012, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in February 1, 1935, the daughter of Edward E. and Hester F. Turell Veazie, she was educated in North Adams schools.
Mrs. Salvatore had been employed as a cashier at the former Adams Supermarket and most recently as cashier for fifteen years at the Price Chopper in Lenox.
She was a former communicant of St. Ann Church in Lenox.
Mrs. Salvatore's family was her source of joy.
She leaves her husband, Dominic J. Salvatore, Sr., whom she married April 18, 1958.
She is also survived by a son, Dominic J. Salvatore, Jr., of Pittsfield; a daughter, Tina M. McMahon of Kangaroo Flat, Victoria, Australia; a brother, Samuel Veazie of North Adams; six grandchildren, Jessica Salvatore and Cassidy Salvatore, Heather Shurtleff, Stevie-Jane McMahon, Siera McMahon, and Sebastion McMahon; and two great grandchildren, Jasmyne Shurtleff and Breanna Shurtleff.
Mrs. Salvatore was pre-deceased by a daughter, Catherine Salvatore, and a
brother, Edward Veazie.


FUNERAL NOTICE: Services for Dorothy "Dot" Sandra Salvatore will be private with burial to be in
St. Joseph's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in
memory of Mrs. Salvatore may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in
care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
