Obituary for Dorothy C. Price

Dorothy Catherine Price, 87, of Dalton, Ma. died, Friday, March 14, 2014 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
Born on September 27, 1926 in Boundbrook, New Jersey a daughter of the late LeGrande and Anna Beatty Mundy. She attended schools in Boundbrook, New Jersey.
Mrs. Price was last employed as a switch board operator for Berkshire Bank & Trust in Pittsfield for several years, she retired in the early 1980's.
She was a communicant of Saint Agnes Church, and had been a volunteer for many years as a receptionist at the American Red Cross and United Cerebral Palsy. She enjoyed reading mystery novels, flower gardening, traveling with senior groups and especially enjoyed her family and traveling to Hawaii.
She was the wife of William H. Price, Jr. whom she married at St. Agnes Church on September 3, 1950, he passed away on July 22, 2012.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen H. Price of Dalton. Two sons, Gregory P. Price and his wife Karen of Peru, Ma. and Allan W. Price and his wife Judy of Pittsfield. Three grandchildren, Mandy Price, Judd Price and Sgt. Matthew Price and his wife Amy. Four Great Grandchildren, Avalon, Avery, Kyleigh and Braedon Price.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2014 with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at Saint Agnes Church, celebrated by the Rev. Christopher Malatesta, pastor.
Burial will follow in the Ashuelot Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Red Cross in her memory in care of the DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 890 East Main St. Dalton, Ma. 01226 which is handling arrangements.
