Obituary for Dorothy Leitch

Dorothy Leitch, 70, of Cheshire, died at her home on Thursday July 16, 2015. Dorothy was born in Queens, N.Y. on June 7, 1945, daughter of the late William and Elma Dalrymple Schloss. She was educated in New York schools. Dorothy was a veterinary technician, working most of her career for Dr. Fredrick Mack, a Massachusetts State Veterinarian. More recently Dorothy worked for Pampered Pets in the Allendale Shopping Center. Dorothy loved animals of all types and enjoyed working with and helping take care of them. Dorothy is survived by her husband; Paul L. Leitch; they were married September 17, 2003 in Adams, MA, her brother-in-law; Charles Leitch and his wife Amelia of Cheshire, and brother-in-law Thomas Leitch of Thailand.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, August 30, at 6:00 p.m., at the DERY-CHESHIRE FUNERAL HOME with Rev. William D. Furey officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cheshire Fire Department in case of the Funeral Home, P.O. Box 445, Cheshire.
