Dorothy M. Goodrow, 89, formerly of Church Street, Cheshire, MA died Friday at Sweet Brook Care Center in Williamstown where she had resided since January of 2005. Born on June 18, 1918 in Northrupert, VT she was the daughter of the late Fred and Grace Colby Reed. She was educated in Vermont schools and graduated from high school in 1940 in Vergennes, VT. She was employed as a lead operator at W.R. Grace Company in Adams, MA for thirty-eight years. She retired in 1984. She was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Cheshire. She enjoyed gardening, baking and traveling. She leaves a daughter, Donna Marie Martyn of Dennisport, MA and her former husband, Donald Goodrow of Cheshire.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Dorothy M. Goodrow who died July 6, 2007 will be held Tuesday at 9:45 AM from the DERY-CHESHIRE FUNERAL HOME followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Cheshire celebrated by the Rev. David Raymond, pastor. Burial will follow in Cheshire Cemetery. Mrs. Goodrow also leaves several nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours.
