Obituary for Dorothy "Dolly" Curley

Dorothy Amber "Dolly" Shea Curley, 66, of 31 Bonnie Drive, Hinsdale, Ma. and formerly of Pittsfield and Richmond died Saturday, March 28, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Pittsfield, Ma. on June 1, 1948 a daughter of the late William and Dorothy May Loomis Shea. She attended schools in Lenox and was a 1966 graduate of Lenox High School. Dolly was last employed for Kimball Farms in Lenox for 18 years as the front desk receptionist and also handled the transportation of residents. She also for several years was the Town of Richmond Tax Collector. She enjoyed the outdoors and gardening and going to Maine with her grandchildren.
She leaves her husband, John J. "Jack" Curley whom she married February 3, 1967 at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Lenoxdale, Ma. Two daughters, Shanna A. Curley-Graham and husband Michael of Pittsfield. And Jennifer A. Spokas and husband Eric of Shutesbury, Ma.
Three sisters, Deena Donohue and husband Steve of McKinley, Texas, Debbie Cline-Miller and husband Joseph of Delmar, New York and Dawn Despres and husband Joel of Providence, Rhode Island. Two brothers, Richard Cline and William Shea.
Five beloved grandchildren, Joshua, Hailey, Connor, Avery and Ella. Many Nieces and Nephews.
Brother and sister in law, William and Nancy Peterson, sister in law, Ellen Snyder and brother in law, James Curley.
She was predeceased by a sister, Diana J. McDonald and a brother, Bruce Cline.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A prayer service will be held Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 5:00 P.M. at the Dery Funeral Home 54 Bradford St. Pittsfield, Ma. with the Rev. Peter A. Gregory pastor of St. Charles Church officiating. Burial will be at a later date at St. Josephs Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home in Pittsfield will be Thursday from 2 to 5 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorials in her memory may be made to Huntington Disease Association of America or to Hospice Care in the Berkshires both in care of the funeral home.
