Obituary for Donna Lynn Barnes
Donna Lynn Barnes, 69, Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend; of 1 Central Berkshire Blvd., Pittsfield, died on Monday, December 7, 2015 at the Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield, on December 4, 1946, the daughter of the late Bruno and Irene Nutbrown Donati. She was educated in local schools and was a 1965 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
She enjoyed cooking, traveling and spending time with her granddaughters and beloved poodle, Sydney. Donna was also a yearly participant for Relay for Life.
She is survived by her longtime companion with whom she resided, Dennis McCulloch; her two daughters; Jo-Anne M. DeSanctis and her husband Gildo of Pittsfield; Michele L. Barnes of Pittsfield; two grandchildren; Jaclyn Kelly and her husband Patrick of Glenville, NY., Brittany DeSanctis and her fiancé Joseph Schilling of Pittsfield; two brothers; Richard Donati and his wife Kathryn of Elk Grove, CA., Douglas Donati and his wife Jeanne of Estero, FL.
She was predeceased by two brothers; Edward and David Donati and her first poodle; Jake.
FUNERAL NOTICE:
At Donna's request there are no Funeral services.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Donna may be made to the Berkshire County Jimmy Fund, in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
