Obituary for Donald K. Ellsworth

DONALD KEITH ELLSWORTH, JR., 52, of 771 Tyler Street, Pittsfield, died
Tuesday, August 26, 2008, at Berkshire Medical Center. Born at Guantanamo Bay Naval Hospital in Cuba, February 22, 1956, a son of
Beverley A. Howard Ellsworth and the late Donald K. Ellsworth, Sr., he was educated in
Pittsfield schools.
A Viet Nam War veteran, Mr. Ellsworth entered the United States Marine Corps
on February 26, 1973, earned the rank of Lance Corporal on May 1, 1974, and served
until being honorably discharged on August 12, 1975. He enjoyed watching movies, music, and making ceramics.
Besides his mother of Pittsfield, Mr. Ellsworth leaves three brothers, David K.
Ellsworth, Douglas K. Ellsworth, and Darrell K. Ellsworth and his wife, Tammy, all of
Pittsfield; a nephew, Devin T. Ellsworth, and two nieces, Robin Miner and Jessica
Ellsworth-Miner.


FUNERAL NOTICE:Funeral services for DONALD KEITH ELLSWORTH, JR., who died Tuesday,
August 26, will be private and at the convenience of the family, with burial to be in
St. Joseph's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in
memory of Mr. Ellsworth may be made to Berkshire Medical Center Renal Dialysis Unit
in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
