Obituary for Dennis G. Archambault
Dennis Archambault, 54, of Portland, Maine, died on March 11, 2014. Dennis loved his family, his faith, the Boston Bruins and 1967 Volkswagen Beetles. He faced the many challenges that came his way with humor, hope and determination. Dennis was born in Pittsfield and graduated from St. Joseph Central High School in Pittsfield. He and his wife, Virginia, moved to Portland in 1995. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern Maine in 2001. Dennis is survived by Virginia and their son, Nicholas of Portland; his children, Jeffrey and Alina of Christiansburg, Va., and Anthony of Pittsfield; his parents, Carol and Marcel Archambault; and siblings, Suzanne Leary, Kelly Poplaski, Dean and Tina Archambault, Marcel and Katy Archambault, and Cindy and Dan Adams, all of Pittsfield. A celebratory Mass will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2014, in the Chapel at The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland. Arrangements are by Jones Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, Portland. There will be a memorial service in Denny's honor at a later date in Pittsfield. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dennis's name to Maine Cancer Foundation at mainecancer.org. Dennis G.
